We had a great day and saw the whales very close to the boat! It was a great experience! The contact with the company was very easy with wsapp. They... read more picked us up ar our hotel with a private car and took us to the harbour were we were welcomed by our guide and two guys on the boat. Everything went as planned. The boat trip was al little heavy due to rough sea but it was a fun ride. I really recommend this tour, the whales are fantastic!
Awesome Experience to see the mangroves, caves, bays from the Kajak

Saona is the best. Super katamaran, music, dance, drink.

Booking adventures has changed my view of guided tours! Previously I had opted to research areas and walk around myself. This isn't allowed at Los Haitises as people are required... read more to have a tour guide, and I'm so grateful that this prompted us to find Booking Adventures. Our experience with Hallé Jackson at Booking Adventures couldn't have been better.
We did both the 4 hour hiking tour and 4 hour kayaking tour at Los Haitises. We were staying at a hotel in Sabana de la Mar which also happened to be part of the Booking Adventures group. Both mornings we drove to meet Hallé at Los Haitises.
During the hiking tour, Hallé provided intimate knowledge of the area, plants, trees, and animals. We were able to eat fresh Kakao fruit off of wild trees in the jungle as well as three different stages of coconut maturation. We were able to see a few endemic animals like the lizard cuckoo. The whole experience was very immersive and we wouldn't have been able to have close to that caliber of experience without Hallé and Booking Adventures.
If the hiking tour is described as fantastic, then the kayaking tour would be out of this world. The coastline views were remarkably beautiful with orchid vines and pencil cactus hanging down the sides of the cliffs. Hallé shared a wealth of knowledge about the natural erosion prevention ecosystem with coral, red mangroves, and black mangroves near the coast. The far point of the kayaking tour stops at a cave system that the natives held as sacred ritual site. We felt like we gained a good understanding of the natives and their ritual practices while walking through the cave system with Hallé. We were very happy with everything we saw and learned during the tour.
If you want to have a great experience of Los Haitises, then I would say look no further than Booking Adventures. The experience was phenomenal and the prices were competitive if not cheaper than the competition.
